How it works
This bridge runs on Circle Gateway: your USDC is deposited into Circle's GatewayWallet on the source chain, and once the deposit finalizes it becomes a unified balance you can mint on the destination chain. Native USDC only — no wrapped tokens, no liquidity pools.
- Approve & deposit USDC into the GatewayWallet (source chain).
- Wait for finality — Base ~18–21 min · Avalanche ~8 s · Arc ~10 s.
- Sign a burn intent — one free, off-chain signature.
- Circle returns a signed attestation (~seconds).
- Mint on the destination: to Arc our relayer submits it and pays the gas; to Base your wallet submits it (a little ETH for gas).
The Gateway fee is deducted from the bridged amount. Your progress is saved per wallet — you can close the tab and resume any time.

Nothing is lost. Reconnect the same wallet and press Resume bridge — the flow continues from the exact step it stopped at. Deposited funds sit safely in your Gateway balance until they are minted.
How do I recover with a manual mint?›
If the normal flow won't continue, open the , pick your route (e.g. Base → Arc or Arc → Base), paste your deposit transaction hash, and press Mint. You sign one free message and the mint completes — connect the same wallet that made the deposit.
